Biostrong™ H-Protect supports livability
Biostrong H-Protect fed poults challenged with Blackhead disease experienced a 14.29% mortality rate post-challenge marking an improvement of approximately 54.53% over the post-challenge Challenge Control group mortality rate of 31.43%.
Biostrong™ H-Protect helps limit horizontal transmission and mortality
In a seeder model challenge, Blackhead horizontal transmission rate was decreased by 38% when poults were fed Biostrong H-Protect compared to control poults (32% versus 52.54% transmission).
Mortality rate in the direct challenge poults (seeders) was 20%, representing a 50% reduction compared to the 40% mortality rate observed in the Control group.
Biostrong™ H-Protect helps limit horizontal transmission and mortality
Poults in the Biostrong H-Protect group were over 1 pound heavier than the Yeast-product Control group at the end of the trial. On average across all ages, Biostrong H-Protect toms were 4% heavier compared to the Yeast-product Control group.
When in a presence of a Blackhead challenge, Biostrong H-Protect fed poults showed a reduction in FCR compared to poults fed a control diet, resulting in a 16-point advantage.
